    After completing my undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Digital Forensics, I gained practical experience by working on cases for several police forces across the UK and serving as an Expert Witness in court. After several years of acquiring this experience, I began teaching the next generation at the National Cyber Security Academy. As a Senior Lecturer in Digital Forensics and Cyber Security, I taught various modules ranging from level 5 to 7, such as ‘Digital Forensic Techniques,’ ‘Mobile Device Forensics,’ ‘Emerging Technologies and Digital Forensics,’ and ‘Secure Operations and Incident Management.’ During this time, I also led the master’s programs in Applied Cyber Security and Digital Forensics. This experience is contributing to my PhD research, which focuses on enhancing DFIR (Digital Forensic Incident Response) capabilities in the healthcare industry.

    On 18th September 2019, at the 14th International Congress of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (ICSES) in Buenos Aires, in recognition of my life-time contribution to Shoulder & Elbow Surgery, I was awarded one of only 8 medals world-wide for my work as a "Pioneer of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery" by the International Board of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (IBSES). I also received a separate shoulder award in recognition of previously Chairing the 11th ICSES in Edinburgh in 2010; presenting the 13th Codman Lecture at the 2016 ICSES in South Korea and with "Thanks for building bridges and making them work in the field of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery!"

    Professor Cullington is a Professorial Fellow and Principal Clinical Scientist at the University of Southampton Auditory Implant Service in the United Kingdom; we implant adults and children of all ages.  She is captivated by cochlear implants and the use of technology to improve people’s lives.  She has worked for 26 years in six cochlear implant centres around the world, and completed her PhD at University of California, Irvine.

    Professor Cullington is committed to developing tools to empower people with cochlear implants to manage their own care at home, and currently has a £0.5 million grant from The Health Foundation to scale up my successful telemedicine tools across the UK.

    She is Chair of the British Cochlear Implant Group and is committed to using technology and social media to improve health care and communication.
